FAKE RCON
To use RCON you have to use modified commands since the release of CS2 in September 2023, Valve has not fixed the problem... so there are now several different options available to manage your server properly.
Fake Rcon is one option, but we recommend to use our tools like CKRAS BOT &or MatchZy, with this tools you can mange your CS2 Gameserver, FAKE RCON is not longer available as direct installation option in the panel, as mentioned we recommand CKRAS BOT and MatchZy.
PROBLEM
In the current server version from CS2, commands like rcon changelevel are not working, so we need a solution here.
We recommend to use CKRAS BOT & MatchZy, alternative is to use the Tool https://github.com/fpaezf/CS2-RCON-Tool-V2/releases

FAKE RCON PLUGIN
The Fake RCON plugin takes care of this problem and allows you to execute the commands on the server again and thus manage the server.

INSTALL PLUGIN
We installed the plugin FAKE RCON on all CKRAS gameservers by default, so you don't have to do anything until you enter your desired password in the rcon.txt. If you notice a problem - please click once switch more games -> delete the game and reinstall, this will fix it!
Please click on edit to set the rcon.txt for your future FAKE-RCON password.
Change the Placeholder YourRconPassword_Here with your password.
We have removed the automatic installation, but you can still install FAKE RCON via FTP.
For this we have newly introduced NEW CKRAS BOT
optional via ftp
You can edit the rcon.txt via FTP, the FTP data can be found in the webinterface under Gameserver (top right tab) under FTP Accounts. Then enter the data into an FTP programme, e.g. Filezilla, and use the default port 21.
The file rcon.txt can be found in the following folder:
/cs2/game/bin/linuxsteamrt64
